Belfast Celtic defeat Shelbourne in Irish Cup semi-final

Belfast, 17 Mar 1915 - Belfast Celtic beat Shelbourne by 1-0 in today’s Irish Cup semi-final played in Belfast. The match was a replay of the drawn game which had ended 0-0 at Dalymount Park in Dublin. The only goal of the game was scored after 15 minutes.

The attendance of 12,000 included 2,000 people who had travelled from Dublin for the game. Belfast Celtic will now face Linfield in the final.
