In the first Dublin derby of the season, the professionals of Shelbourne comfortably defeated Bohemians' amateurs at Dalymount Park.

Bohemians played with the benefit of the hill and the wind in the first half but trailed at the interval by 1-0. Although the game was competitive throughout, Bohemians took none of the chances that came their way and eventually lost by 3-0.
