Portadown man falls from moving train

Portadown, 30 March 1915 - An inquest was held in Portadown yesterday into the death of a man who fell from a moving train. William Loughlin (60), a labourer, had attempted to jump from the moving train but fell between the platform and the carriages. He was dragged along by the train and his head was crushed.

He died at the scene.
