Photographic Society of Ireland exhibition to go ahead despite the war

Dublin, 19 March 1915 - The Photographic Society of Ireland will hold an exhibition of its work in the Engineers’ Hall on Dawson Street next week.

The society, which was founded in 1858, will give all the profits from the exhibition to the Irish Brigade. There will be no exhibits from the continent of Europe this year, but a selection of photographs will come from Scotland and a large number of photographs will be presented from all over Ireland.
