Gresham Hotel hosts dance to raise money for troops

27 February 1915 - The Gresham Hotel in Dublin yesterday hosted the second in a series of dances organised by Mr. and Mrs. Leggett-Byrne to raise money for troops at the Western Front. A large crowd attended - including many men in uniform.

The music was provided by Mr. Clarke-Barry’s band, which played a pleasing selection of the latest dance music. Dancing continued until 2.30am and it is expected that another dance will be held next month.
