An elderly woman, Mrs. Lumsden, was discovered this weekend gagged with a towel and with a pillow over her head in her house in Denny Street, Tralee, Co. Kerry. Mrs. Lumsden, who is an invalid and is largely confined to bed, is more than 80 years of age.

She was discovered by a nightwatchman from a local hotel from which she gets her meals. Two valuable rings were stolen from her fingers in the course of the robbery.
