Tales of Bulgarian Trickery

Heavy fighting has continued between the Bulgarian and Greek-Serbian forces around the Gulf of Orphano. Public opinion in Belgrade has been incensed of late, with stories daily emerging about the underhand tactics of the Bulgarians. Stories have circulated that Bulgarian troops involved in one skirmish were seen to hoist white flags in surrender, but then attacked the Serbs in a bayonet charge. In another incident, at night time, the Bulgarians approached a Serbian position and shouted out ‘We are Serbians. Do not fire’. They then proceeded to rush the Serbians and take their position. The situation on the ground remains unclear, but fighting between the sides is heavy.
