Six Indians killed in Natal

Reports have emerged that in recent days that clashes have taken place between Indians and the police in Natal, South Africa. The clashes led to the hospitalisation of three policemen and the killing of six Indians.

The dispute between the Indian population and the South African authorities is ongoing, and relates to the treatment of Indian immigrants in the country; particularly their treatment in the areas of employment and the law.

Colonial administrators in the two countries are currently trying to address the issue and find a solution.
