Sir Roger Casement in Dublin on Sick Leave
Sir Roger Casement, the British Consul-General at Rio de Janeiro, is at present in Dublin on sick leave, and will spend the next few weeks there before returning to Brazil. In an interview given today to the Irish Times, Casement spoke forcefully on the need for the Gaelic League, which he has been involved with since 1904, to succeed and that it was paramount that moves towards creating home based industries were supported by the whole population.
