MP says Irish people aren’t anti-Jewish

The storm created by the Whitechapel by-election last month, when Irish voters were accused of being anti-Jewish was addressed today by Swift MacNeill, Unionist MP for South Donegal. He dismissed the charge and said that the Irish, wherever they were, had ensured that Jews were never placed in a position of inequality and were always ensured their full civil rights.
