Lord Kitchener sends Indian troops to the front

Lord Kitchener announced in the House of Commons today that in addition to the reinforcements which would shortly proceed from England, the Government have decided to that their army in France should be increased by two divisions and a cavalry division from India.

The first division is now on their way to France.
