Irish industries on show in Belfast
The Exhibition of Irish Industries opened yesterday at the Ulster Hall in Belfast, drawing as exhibitors industrialists from all four provinces. At a time when the future of Ireland is so hotly debated, it is reassuring to note that all shades of political opinion have come together to support Irish industry. There is a shared belief that industrial growth in Ireland will benefit all shades of opinion and all classes, and that, far from being antogistic to British industry, a prosperous and industrial Ireland, as the various exhibits demonstrate, will be good both for Ireland and the rest of the United Kingdom.
