Infant’s body discovered in the Dodder
An infant’s body has been found in the River Dodder between Herbert Road and London Bridge. The awful discovery was made by two boys, Thomas Kerins and William Fleming, who were fishing when they discovered the body. It appears that the body was of a recently born male, and according to the coroner the body had been in the river for approximately ten days. Police have begun an investigation as to the identity of the mother, and how the infant came to be in the river.
