Doctors Approve of Tight Skirts

The Chicago Medical Society met tonight to discuss the question of tight skirts and whether they were detrimental to the well being of women. The leading medical minds of Chicago concluded that tight skirts were ‘hygienic, artistic, and comfortable and that they corrected bad walking’. The decision, so stated the New York correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, ‘was immensely gratifying to feminine America’.
