Cycling Body in Friendly Talks

The split that led to the creation of two national cycling bodies may be at an end. It has been agreed that representatives of the Irish Cyclists Association will enter talks with the Gaelic Athletes and Cyclists Union to agree to co-operate with a view to allowing the two bodies to meet in competitive events. It has also been revealed that an Irish cycling team will be sent to the British Empire Championship in Scotland next July.
