Boy Shoots Girl With Toy Pistol

Herbert Lilly was remanded on bail in Belfast. He was accused of having wounded a sixteen year old, Minnie Kennedy, with a toy pistol. The arresting sergeant said that the pistol would have been deadly at close range. Lilly was also found in possession of a mask. Despite the incident, the court was told that Lilly and Kennedy were on good terms.
