Wexford and Kerry draw All-Ireland Football Final

Published: 2 November 1914

A thrilling All-Ireland football final, played in front of 15,000 people, ended in a draw yesterday at Croke Park. The final score was Wexford 2-0, Kerry 1-3. Kerry’s equalising point came just two minutes from the end as Wexford failed to score in the second half and failed to score a point at all.

More than 26 special trains brought spectators to the match from across Ireland and it is expected that the crowd for the replay will be greater again.
