A Dublin man is currently imprisoned in Arbour Hill charged with offences under the Defence of the Realm Act. The young man had been ordered to take down a wireless installation at his house. This had been done, but when the police returned in recent days they found the installation back in operation and, having searched the house, found copious notes of Admiralty orders and other messages. The man claims he was training to serve as a wireless operator in the navy.
