Irish couple has four sons fighting in the war

Published: 22 October 1914

An Irish couple has received a letter from King George V thanking them for their contribution to the war effort. Four sons belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Kenny, of Herbert Hill Lodge, Dundrum in Dublin are serving in the war.

Thomas and Gregory Kenny are currently at the front; Charles is in the War Signal Station, and William is with the Munster Fusiliers awaiting deployment.
