Emmeline Pankhurst released from prison
Emmeline Pankhurst, who has been on a hunger and thirst strike in Holloway Jail, has been released under the Cat and Mouse Act. Mrs. Pankhurst was taken away in an ambulance and is believed to be in an extremely weak condition.
Mrs. Pankhurst, who is the leader of the Women’s Social and Political Union, was arrested in Glasgow on Monday evening and was then imprisoned in Holloway Jail.
